• Description

  Soft sponge cake made with almond flour, free-range eggs, 22% of 60% dark chocolate, butter and sugar.
  Does not contain wheat flour.
  
  Just like a homemade cake, it is best enjoyed within the first few days of production and in any case within the recommended dates.
  
  Recommended pairings:
  - Ideal if served with whipped cream, black cherries
  - Rum, Limoncello

• History

  This delicious take on the Caprese cake comes from the recipe book of 'Aunt Sandra', part of the Neapolitan branch of the Pandolfini family.
  Francesco and his son Pablo worked on the measurements and processing steps in order to adapt the homemade recipe to the standards of the Antonio Mattei biscuit factory. Our Chocolate Cake is on sale in shops from 8 September 2023.

• Ingredients

  EGGS, ALMOND flour, 22% dark chocolate (cocoa, sugar, cocoa butter, Bourbon vanilla beans), sugar, BUTTER (MILK), rum, ammonium carbonates (E503).
  
  Icing sugar sachet: sugar, WHEAT starch, vanillin.
  
  May contain GLUTEN, PISTACHIOS, HAZELNUTS, SOY, MUSTARD, PEANUTS AND OTHER TREE NUTS
