• History

  In 1949 Antonio Bonomo and Girolamo Giglio started the capperificio activity in Pantelleria.
  
  With the disappearance of the founders, the sons of Antonio and Girolamo have collected the memory of the hard and precious work of their fathers and have handed it over to Gabriele Lasagni, who has deepened the study and research on the raw materials that Pantelleria contains and who today directs La Nicchia with passion.
  Today, after more than sixty years, their company is the only Pantelleria organisation to be an Agricultural Company, Capperificio and Artigianale Laboratory.
  Giovanni, Simone and Luca works with us at the Capperificio in Pantelleria; Maurizio, Nicola, Federica and Raffaella at the Artisan Laboratory; Filippo at the Agricultural Company.
